ICA Cheer Competition Dates for JGE Cheer
BELOW YOU WILL FIND THE COMPETITION WEEKENDS THAT HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED BY THE ICA CHEER ORGANIZATION.
JGE CHEER DOES NOT HAVE THEIR DEFINITE DATES FOR COMPETITIONS AS OF YET. WE WILL COMPETE IN THREE OF THESE COMPETITIONS:

*Eighth graders will be the ONLY ones performing on Friday, November 13 and Friday, November 20th.
JGE Cheer is a member of The Illinois Cheerleading Association (ICA). Our competition teams will compete in 3 Qualifying events/cheer competitions each season with the opportunity to earn a STATE BID and advance to the ICA STATE Cheerleading Championships the weekend of November 13-15 at the NIU Convocation Center.
Coaches, Managers and Board Members will decide on the Events that each team will attend based on availability at the time of registration. Your registration fees cover your cheerleader's entrance fee to each of the events (no refunds for missed competitions). Please reserve the entire day for each competition as we will not know exact team performance times until the week of the event.
ALL TEAMS WILL RECEIVE THEIR PERFORMANCE TIMES THE WEEK OF EACH COMPETITION OR AS SOON AS ICA PUBLISHES THE COMPLETE/FINAL ORDER OF PERFORMANCE.
The 2026 State Cheerleading Championship Competition will be held at the NIU Convocation Center the weekend of November 13th-November 15th, 2025. Spectator entrance is FREE, however there is a parking fee per vehicle.
2026 STATE fees will include the entrance into the state competition and also the competition gift fee. Optional fundraising will be offered to help off-set State fees. This fee will be due in November.
